In the Unpacked event, Samsung released its new Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus. These now come with 5G support standard. It has a 120Hz display with quad-speakers. Now the S-pen’s latency is reduced to a whooping 9ms which is about the same as the Apple Pencil. They come in two sizes: 11inch( Tab S7 ) and 12.4inch ( Tab S7 Plus ). If we talk about the Flagship model Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus in detail then unsurprisingly, the absolute best thing about it is its display. This OLED panel is bright, vibrant, and pixel-dense. Colors practically jump off the screen, and it's deep as they are on the LG OLED TV hanging in my living room. Topping it off is the 120Hz refresh rate, which makes every interaction smooth. In terms of camera, both tablets feature a dual rear camera setup which includes a 13 MP primary sensor and a 5 MP secondary sensor. They have an 8 MP selfie camera too.
The Galaxy Tab S7 series will allow users to use three apps simultaneously. The Tab S7 Plus has Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 865 Plus processor inside, plus 8GB of RAM. Samsung put four speakers( Two on each side ) into the Tab S7 models with a bit of Dolby Atmos and AKG tuning on top. Samsung has also put the camera on the right pot as it is easier to look at people while in a video conference making it a portable laptop. Samsung DeX support is available standard on both models which gives a more of a traditional desktop like experience which is not perfect yet i can say because most of the apps keep crashing with Samsung’s window resizing controls. Samsung’s new feature lets you run three apps at the same time.
That’s nice, but most apps look like stretched-out phone apps or don’t offer support for keyboard shortcuts. The high-res, high-refresh display, the fact that bouncing between at least six different apps all day long, or what, but we can consistently kill the battery in less than six hours when using the Tab S7 Plus as a laptop even with the huge 10,090mAh Battery ( In the Tab S7 Plus and 8,000mAh for Tab S7 ).
Fortunately, there’s 45-watt fast charging support. The tabs also come in three colors: Mystic Black, Mystic Silver and Mystic Bronze ( Which is a color available for all the Samsung products released lately ). Both come with an expandable storage upto 1TB. So if you are planning to buy one, the S7 starts at ₹63,999 and S7 Plus starts at ₹79,999.
