PS5 The Powerhouse with an Innovative Design

Updated: Sep 28, 2020

Sony surprised everyone with the latest PS5 and the exclusive games comprising the new Spider-Man entry of Miles Morales, a Horizon Zero Dawn sequel, a Demon's Souls remake, Resident Evil 8, and many more. There will be two PlayStation 5 consoles which will launch on this Holiday 2020 – a standard edition with a 4K Blu-ray disc drive, and a slimmer, disc-free PS5 Digital Edition. Both consoles will make use of USB-C charging for their controllers, and HD camera accessory, alongside a new PS5 wireless headset and media remote.

A curvy mixture of black and white plastics with blue highlight lighting, it is far better from the black boxy designs of previous PlayStation consoles. The Internal storage will be 825GB for the custom SSD and a pretty good graphics memory of 16gigs. Epic Games has said that the PS5's SSD is so fast that the developer had to rework its Unreal Engine 5 tech demo to take full advantage of it. For expandable storage, it has an extra NVme SSD slot but also supports an HDD for PS4 games only.

The PS5 will boast 3D audio support, thanks to the new Tempest Engine. It's an incredibly powerful system. Coming to Accessories The DualSense controller will have the Share button replaced by the Create button and will also have an inbuilt mic for more easy communication between users. The PS5 will not support all PS4 accessories, but it does seem to support the majority of licensed peripherals. The DualShock 4 will work on PS5 only for supported PS4 games. The digital console will have the same specs as the standard PS5, just in a more streamlined package.
