Asus has somehow crammed a AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS and an Nvidia RTX 2060 Max-Q into a 14-inch notebook. It also has 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 120Hz display. G14 is the smallest Zephyrus gaming laptop Asus has ever made. The 4900HS and 2060 Max-Q duo can handle games like Red Dead Redemption II and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It delivered a console like experience with all the demanding games. But it gets pretty hot. A dot matrix they call AniMe Matrix covers half of the lid , which is a functioning LED display that can show GIFS, the time, and other effects.
The G14 lifts the keyboard up when opening the lid helping more air to circulate and it also hides a part of the screen’s enormous bottom bezel. The ports available are: two USB-C, two USB-A, an HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The G14 can charge via USB-C, but there’s also a jack for Asus’s 180W adaptor. The notebook has a 1920 x 1080 screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is not that great. G14 has a separate panel containing the volume controls and a key that mutes or unmutes the microphone. Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 price in India starts at ₹80,990 without AniMe Matrix display, while its AniMe Matrix variant carries a starting price of ₹98,990.
THE ANIMEMATRIX DISPLAY IS MADE UP OF 1,215 individual
mini-LEDs AND IS CUSTOMIZABLE USING THE ARMOURY CRATE SOFTWARE
